Dr. Ian Ndlovu is not new to many Christians in Kenya and to the new government. He consistently gave prophetic messages on the Kenyan 2022 election and visited the statehouse after President Ruto was sworn in. I follow Dr. Ian Ndlovu on YouTube and I have seen his prophetic messages fulfilled I, therefore, take his messages with seriousness.
Recently he gave a prophetic message to the current government leaders and It is important for them to know and avoid the traps he saw for their own good and that of the country. According to Dr. Ian Ndlovu, he saw in a vision the enemy trying to use three demonic traps to finish the current government leaders. One of the traps is for them to engage in division and sectarianism so that they waste time instead of focusing on delivery.
The enemy will also try to use the appetite for revenge against previous and current enemies. The good book says vengeance is mine and I will repay. He cautioned them not to use their strength to fight those that God has already weakened and not to engage in corruption and amassing wealth at the expense of the weak, downtrodden, and the disadvantaged.

Earlier after the two were sworn in he released a prophetic message entitled number 1 and 2 for an East African country. If you listen to it, the said numbers 1 and 2 are President William Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua respectively. He referred to Psalms 133 which says Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing—Life forevermore. He said that the mind of God for the two was for them to work in harmony now and in the future for God to release prosperity in the nation. He noted that there would be attempts to drive a wedge against them by the media and this they must resist.
Further, he noted that one of them should resist the urge to use the powers of the state to revenge against perceived enemies and opposition. He stated that the ability of their stay on top of the mountain will depend on their ability to forgive. They need to love and forgive divinely and this includes those that oppose and hate them. Mathew 5:43-48: 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 [a]But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your [b]brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the [c]tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
The two must also avoid the urge and pressure from their followers and those around them to revenge. Romans 12:19: Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
In this prophetic message, he cautioned them not to use the sword for revenge and to settle scores against their perceived opponents but use it to instill justice and discipline in the nation as outlined in Romans 13: 1-7 which says Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will [a]bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor: They must not use the sword to relieve bitterness but to love their enemies and those that have abused them in the past.
Romans 12:17: Repay no one evil for evil. Have[a] regard for good things in the sight of all men. It is true the two experienced a lot of abuse from those in authority, but God divinely disposed of the sword from those abusing them. They must not fall into the same trap which may lead to God dispossessing them the sword and must use the sword with temperance. They must not short-circuit their blessing through revenge for God is watching them. He finished by saying that God will evaluate the two on how they used the sword and God will decide whether to take the sword and give it to someone else or give it to them again.
