We are in the political season and Kenyans have been asking the question of whose hands they are safe. Depending on whom they support, some will say they are safe in the hands of their candidate. Allow me today to enlighten you on whose hands you are safe and Kenya will be successful and prosper.
The good book in Acts 17:26 says From one man he has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live. This means you are in Kenya because God destined you to be beforehand. You were not born in Kenya accidentally but for a reason. Every Kenyan must therefore be patriotic and care about anything that happens in this nation.
Every Kenyan must be responsible and do the right thing for the success and prosperity of this nation. Believers must pray devoid of their own opinions for the will of God to be done in this nation. We thank God for Apostle John William Kimani for leading the National Prayer Caravan across all counties and all the other believers genuinely praying for this nation, this is what is expected of a believer.
Jeremiah 29: 7 says Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper. Kenyans must be responsible and maintain peace in this nation. There is no need to breach peace to make a politician happy. When Kenya has no peace, there will be no prosperity for all of us. Maintain peace in all circumstances.
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good and pleases God our Savior ( 1 Timothy 2:1-3). It pleases God when you pray for all people and those in authority. You rule the nation on your knees.
I am of the opinion that we are safe as a nation only in God’s hands. The good book says in Psalms 127:1 that Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. I, therefore, urge all Kenyans to pray for the nation and maintain peace. It is in prayer and in the scriptures that you will be able to know the plan and the will of God for this nation.
We shall win and prosper on our knees and by casting our votes wisely.

Indeed we are only safe in God’s Hands. Let us devote ourselves to praying for the nation. May God’s will prevail.
